From Vision to Reality

Reaching the world for Christ takes a team effort. We need to share the Word, instruct others to share the Word, reach the lost with the gospel, and disciple believers for victorious Christian living. Dr. Estelle E. Gross Cyrus, founder of "Right Way," realized Christians need to work together across organizations, missionaries, and other Christian groups to accomplish the great task at hand.

As "Right Way" began to work with others, God opened doors for ministry across denominational lines in the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland. In its endeavor to assist pastors in the discipline of their church members, "Right Way" conducted seminars and workshops, accepted invitations to preach, and participated in church retreats and mission services.

In 1985, a door opened to the foreign field. Dr. Gross Cyrus was invited to minister in the Philippines to conduct training in "Victorious Praying." This ministry has continued to expand over the years. Under her leadership, pastors and/or members of various churches were a part of the outreach team to the Philippines. Now Pastors and Leadership Conferences are conducted regularly with "Right Way" ministering across denominational lines.

"Right Way" received its first invitation to Guyana, South America in 1987. Ministry over these years has included preaching in the churches, teaching at retreats, Bible studies, other Christian gatherings, as well as lecturing at the Interdenominational Pastors Leadership Conference. Activities include television, radio, and newspaper interviews. In 1993, Dr. Gross ministered for seven weeks conducting revivals in the churches.

In May 1990, Dr. Gross Cyrus led the first team to Ireland to minister in the churches. She was requested to teach on prayer and personal spirituality. Opportunities have opened for Mali, West Africa, Hong Kong, and for ministry to American Indians.

Since its inception, "Right Way" has supported other Christians, churches, and mission organizations with an emphasis on evangelism and teaching the Word. Trainers have been provided and training programs have been specially developed in response to requests. Minimal financial support is provided.

Through Christian development and discipleship we desire to encourage believers everywhere to be concerned about the edification and well-being of the body of Christ across national, international, and denominational borders. The mandates of our Lord in the Great Commission encourages us to go into all the world and teach the gospel. Our concept of the world must extend beyond our local assemblies. This can be done through cooperation and utilization of all gifts in the body of Christ. The physical and spiritual blessings of God can be appropriated through faith in His Word and obedience to His commands.
